NESE SUPPORT FUND

By supporting the NESE, you are helping us provide access to music for all through our Carnegie Scholars program, professional ensemble mentorship opportunities, and our outreach programs. We are passionate about expanding our efforts to reach more young musicians, and gifts to this fund ensure we can continue to focus on our mission.

HILL-FREEDMAN WORLD ACADEMY | NESE COLLABORATION

We are so thankful to those that supported our outreach efforts as we welcomed students from Hill-Freedman World Academy back on May 10th and 11th. Your gifts provided deep and impactful engagement opportunities for these students as they experienced a classical concert by the NESE at Carnegie Hall, met professional musicians and Carnegie Scholars in a pre-concert talk, and saw the best sights of New York in a tour led by our student musicians. This collaboration wouldn’t have happened without your support, so thank you for trusting us and allowing us to invest in the lives of young musicians!

OUR HISTORY AND FUTURE

Celebrating its 50th year, the New England Youth Ensemble has always put serving young musicians at the core of its mission. With the addition of the New England Symphonic Ensemble 30 years ago, the organization was given a natural outlet to provide great opportunities to young musicians by placing them alongside professionals at Carnegie Hall. These experiences and opportunities for mentorship were the vision and success of the organization's founder, Dr. Virginia Gene Rittenhouse. As we look ahead to the next 50 years, we want to build on Dr. Rittenhouse's vision and significantly expand those types of experiences to young musicians all around the world. Our ensembles already have a great reputation in NYC and DC, and we will continue to build on that as we seek out additional partnerships and opportunities.
